Welcome to A Drop in the Ocean, a new joint festival between the North and South Pacifics!

Starting from later on today, this subforum will be the home of spam games, events and fun, fun, fun, lasting until Monday evening, as we do our best to showcase the many ways you can get involved and enjoy yourselves beyond the base game in a gigantic feeder region like ours.

Here are some of the things we have planned:

Spam games (but of course);
'Real' games like Mafia and Cards Against Humanity;
The start of a joint RP event;
Discussion tables with members of both regional governments, as well as a chance to ask them your questions;
A live radio broadcast from TNP's Bootsie;
Competitions!
And of course, a chance to get to know the folk in another region on our Discord chat server (link coming soon).

And lots more, besides.

So, watch this space and get ready for a fun weekend!

And now, as the Minister of Regional Affairs of the South Pacific, I'm pleased to announce that the festival is now officially open!

You can head on into the celebration pavilion and begin enjoying some spam games, or you could visit the festival Discord server and start chatting. It's also the place where games and other events will be announced first, so it's a great place to hang out and stay informed!

The festival has been extended until Thursday 22nd December, 'cos people seem to be having fun and there's more we'd like to do. The writing competition has been extended too!
