Clearly, a single grain of rice does not count as a dish in its own right, unlike the discrete fish in Frost's photo.

Pabellón, one of Venezuela's national dishes. Normally it is made of rice, black beans, plantain slices and shredded meat, but where I live, there's this variant made with fish instead.

Seraph's right, clearly a single grain doesn't equal a dish. and I count 37 dishes in Seraph's post. Although the last dish is pretty blurred.
