The Cabinet of the Coalition of the South Pacific,

Noting with deep concern that the region continues to operate with only two local councillors instead of the lawfully mandated three councillors,

Further noting that there has there is as yet no law to address a vacant local councillor seat,

Fully aware that the assembly has recently passed a bill that seeks to rectify this issue,

Realizing that Article 7 of the Election Act declares the Election Act as constitutional law, therefore requiring a game-side debate and vote on the bill mentioned above due to Article XII Section 2 of the Charter,

Believing that a further delay of the Local Council elections would intolerably interfere with the upcoming Delegate elections,

Convinced that the game-side community is in favor of the bill as it is,

hereby:

Draws upon its authority for issuing executive orders as per Article VI Section 11 of the Charter, doing so with unanimous approval;

Approves an immediate special election of the vacant Local Councillor seat;

Designates the Delegate Tsunamy as Election Commissioner for the special election;

Expresses its hope that the recently passed bill will be approved by the game-side community.
