The APC has been working on a Court reform proposal with TIL for the last few months. We now would like to begin the public phases of constructing this legislation. We can't approach the court from the abstract. Instead, we need to face the reality of the game. A three-person panel sounds great in theory, but where are we going to get them? We always had a hell of a time finding three well-qualified people to serve when we had this system two years ago. It was a mess.

Joking aside, a three person court strikes me as a little excessive - how often are the courts used to require this even being a thing? Over the past few months, I cannot think of a single issue that has come before the court (Feir has even said that he is amazed how quiet it has been, I responded that people are seeking non court-based solutions to their disagreements, which benefits tSP as a whole as opposed to one specific side of a disagreement), so a three person court strikes me as being a little unnecessary. I'm also concerned that you've shared a public document with the RL names of some players clearly visible in a public section of the forum.
Yes, please do correct that as soon as possible. We can't have such revealing information on the forum, or directly linked on it.

Um, no. You've not fixed it, you're simply trying to force us to come to your ballpit to play games.
I mean, you can do that but I'm not alone in not wanting to join a new server just because of this. Why don't you a) post the actual draft on the forum or b) create a copy of the existing gdocument, clean of comments/suggestions, mark it as viewable only and share that? |
