Tsu, why haven't you answered my question on unicorns?

Missed it. I would really just take the unicorn for decoration, but I'll keep Phoebe's sarcastic unicorn for a best friend.

I'll take that as "Yes I like unicorns".

Also, good to see you liked Phoebe and her Unicorn.  Smile

First of all, mentoring "newer generations" is a good point, as a new member myself, to vote for ya.
However there is still a question in my mind, that I need to have answered, before you may be the old-new-delegate!

You said, that you want to connect the RMB and forum communities more and I think, that this is indeed something, that has to be done. Any ideas, you would want to share yet, how you could achieve this or is it just something, you want to work on and "promise in advance"?

That's a great question, GI. Obviously, ideas around and suggestions for connecting the RMB-active nations and the forum community have debate since the beginning of the region. (Or, at least since I've got here in 2003.)

I has been discussing with Bel the possibility of having more Local Councillors, which I think could possibly work. When we have 8,000 nations, it's nearly impossible for one or even a handful connect with everyone. Having more people interface between the RMB and forum would be a start.

One of the other ideas I've had — and it's somewhat less baked — would be dividing the region in smaller "districts" for those who are interested in governing. It would give people a go to liaison and someone to both advocate for and help them navigate the place.

For anyhow who's newer, I know we've had recent debates about where the community is, per se. Are we one community? Two? Etc. Etc. And, I've always been of and remain of the mind that the forum government comes from the NS game proper and without the NS game, the forums wouldn't have a reason to be. As such, while things such as home rule are great, I see the communities much more and connected than others in the race. We may not always do the best job of connecting them, but we're all one community, nonetheless.
