Seriously, TSP used to BE the region for sillyness and not taking things too seriously

I support it, even though Omega and Farengeto are right about this sillyness-thing.
I mean, objectively NS is satirical too and I guess, we have already a pretty good political system, that you can take serious. If there is now some change like that, it becomes in its essence not less serious. It'll still remain good and can be taken serious as long as we're not giving every position mentioned in the charter a new, somehow silly name. Furthermore I think this argument with the heated arguments by Escade is good. A little smile on your face, while reading your counterpart's argumentation really would perhaps end up in a more thoughtful and not so heated discussion, because you can think better, if you don't have so much tension surrounding you in a discussion ^^

Our mascots are: llama, coconut, lampshades.
We should be joyous and sweet and adorable too. A llamaslator doesn't stress out and is laid back. A legislator has to wear ties or idk pearls that are too tight. Let's be TSP "The Fun Drama Llamas" again. P.S. I'm sure you will not be disinclined to acquiesce to my request unless....you're secretly Barbosa? :O P.P.S Look how cute it looks with my title

Do I really need to draft up a "serious laws only" law? Our region can't function healthily if the laws we limit ourselves by are treated as a lighthearted joke. If it's not really all that serious, then what's a coup really? What's an invasion of privacy or just blatantly ignoring laws?
Let's not react too drastically Glen. Escade's proposal has some merit in injecting a little bit of the light hearted culture of the region into the Forum government. That being said however, we are a legitimate government within NS and not a joke regime. Therefore joke titles do not belong within the Assembly halls. This would be an interesting April Fools title, but inappropriate for general use.
Not recognizing the erosion of our institutions is what always gets us into trouble. Nobody realizes the little things add up, until we're in the midst of a coup.
I think that there must be a thin line between humor and seriousness. Although I am fine with a bit of humour I just think this does not make any sense. As Frost said we are a real and legitimate region and not a satirical one.
