Permanent Justice Resignation
#1

Received a Telegram today from Permanent Justice Joshua Ravenclaw tendering his resignation from any and all positions is The South Pacific.

"Dear Prime Minister,

Please take this as my immediate resignation of any and all offices and roles, including citizenship, within the South Pacific.
Regards,

Ravenclaw"

The Cabinet is currently discussing a replacement for the position. We will notify the region when it is complete.

Would it be reasonable to ask the circumstances of Justice Ravenclaw's sudden resignation?

We will begin confirmation hearings here as soon as we have a nominee. I would like to thank the Prime Minister for this information. I must ask, though, why is this not in the public area?
Above all else, I hope to be a decent person.

I'm going to assume if he had wished for us to know, we would know. From a glance at The North Pacific's public forum areas, I see the following from him in his resignation from its Security Council. "After many months, and some time of contemplation, I have decided it is time to take that break I talked about". Based on that, I'm wagering burnout or something, but it's not really an important factor right now.

I look forward to the new Permanent Justice.

Whilst he won't be able to read this, I'd like to thank Josh for his service to the region.

With Cabinet elections imminent (and the timeline if any potential appointments overlapping with said elections) I ask if the current Cabinet intends to nominate a replacement before the end of their term, or if they will defer it to the incoming cabinet.
