2017 APC Party Summit- Structure of the Party
#1

Hey everyone, is there anything y'all would want to change about the structure of our party? I just want us to discuss this while we have the Summit happening.
Above all else, I hope to be a decent person.

I think it's fine as of this moment.

I actually wanted us to think about maybe having 2 APCRC members for every 5 people. What would y'all think of that?

I am rather indifferent to it, having one for every three like we have now is best for a larger party of 15+ people... So, I would agree that we could expand APCRC membership to the proposed amount...

Right now, we have 10 people... that would be 4 seats, A chair, a vice chair, and two APCRC general members...

If we had 11 (or 12), I would be okay with allowing another member to join the APCRC, and not getting the second member till 15.

I'll draft the language for the amendment to the structure.
Is there anything else we want?
Above all else, I hope to be a decent person.

Here is an updated doc with the proposed changes both by me and that the APCRC submitted. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByUystA...sp=sharing

Any objections to those changes (Allowing the APCRC to create party rules, and expanding the APCRC member group)?

Any other party members or outsiders have any other amendment ideas?

I agree with everything above.

I think we should have more roles in the APCRC.

One role that I could suggest is the Party Secretary. His role is to be in charge of the transcripts of the APCRC and to release them when requested.

I like the idea of a secretary, Spenty.

I think the Secretary could be established by the APCRC without structure amendment.
Above all else, I hope to be a decent person.
