2017 APC Party Summit- Amendments to Charter Voting Thread
#1

Now at vote are all 4 proposed amendments, voting will end on 3/17/17 at 11:00 A.M. CST, or when all party members have voted. ONLY party members may vote. The amendments require a 2/3rds majority vote to be added to the charter.

Let the voting begin:

Amendment 1 (Adding subsection d to article 3 section 1): The APCRC will have the powers to create rules and regulations for the party as a whole by a majority vote.

Amendment 2 (Revising article 3 section 3): The APCRC's membership will consist of a chair and a vice chair, and two members for every 5 people, the general members of the APC would be determined with the following formula. The Membership of the APCRC must never be less than 3. Forumula:  number of party members / 2.5 - 2 = number of General Members

Amendment 3: (Creating section 4 of article 3): After the APCRC is elected, the APCRC will appoint an APCRC member to the secretary position. The secretary will accurately record the discussions of the APCRC discord thread for release to the public at a regular interval to be determined by the APCRC. The secretary will still have the full powers of an APCRC member.

Amendment 4: (This would replace article 3 section 1 subsection b and become article 1 section 6): The chair is the head of recruitment for the APC, the chair may delegate this to any member of the party or the APCRC as a whole with a majority vote from the APCRC. Recruitment messages must be unique to each individual, or not used at all.
