STJ: Very well, (Stern cough) we shall begin with the first agenda. We have received reports of an increased militarization in the Peocracy. Arms have been purchased in irregular amounts for the first time in five years.
PEH: Yes chancellor, (clears throat) as her Peony, I admit that our defenses need further augmentation. ROE: We understand that while the trade between states in the field of arms are allowed under the alliance, (shifting papers) there is failure to see as to why the Peocracy would purchase such hefty amounts of weaponry. PEH: The region is looking unstable, and entry to our ports are within the radius of some of the most militarized states in the region, to attend to the safety of our people, further defense is needed. HAM: (scoffs) We hardly see the reasoning as to why a small country such as your own need so much weaponry. PEH: (Annoyed) We do believe that the honorable High Paladin is fully aware of threats abroad. HAM: Our preference is into something more beneficial to the future. PEH: For that reason your military also indulge in other sectors of the zone. HAM: And what of yours? PEH: Anything that is legal. HAM: (Sharp tone) Are you insinuating something? ROE: Monetary, Physical and Logic does not tap into the court. It is to be understood that countries in the alliance have the right to exercise their privacy in the personal matters that attend to member states, and it is also acknowledged that every country has the right to express militarization and the procurement of further arms in both quantity and quality. If I may guess from what her honorable Peony is suggesting, is that we do not be highly militaristic everyday? The face of the alliance must be firm yet welcoming, we do not always need to flaunt our defenses don’t we? Wouldn’t it be better to be adaptive to the situation with any resource available at the moment, instead of going all out?
PEH: It’s like our immune responses, adapting to issues and problems, it does not put a uniformed response to all diseases, the body responds to issues in its own specialized characters and ways. Honorable leaders, our wisdom must not be tampered due to this. HHZ: I dare to say naive, however it could be considered. HAM: Now that you say it as such. HAM: The Technocracy is not one to control its people with such an iron fist, under my responsibility as High Paladin, we have made regulations lax for both sides, our research suggest that they would want higher salary and greater conditions, other research suggest that there is not enough jobs for the ever growing population, and that foreigners are taking jobs. CLY: We fail to see in why a nation that has such remarkable worker satisfactory ratings could actually be coping with protests. HAM: In an anarchy, our anarchy, everybody runs the show, everybody calls the shots, my leadership is to serve their wishes the best we could. As such, we believe that increasing jobs may be the key towards this. ROE: What do you have in mind? HAM: There are several industrial sectors that need work, and we are looking at establishing a national naval shipping line as well as revitalize more power plants as well as increase our police forces. We wish to find the balance, the perfect balance towards this, it is the will from the mediated forum. LLY: Would there be other explanations for the strikes and the displeasure? HAM: Further research by our Paladins must be made.
