Special Edition: The People's Reform Party
"To reform this corrupt region we will be even more corrupt!"

Good evening I am Omega and welcome to special edition of SPN. Recently a new political party has come into being: The People Reform Party or PRP. Because we are interested in keeping groups accountable we will be taking a look at the ideas of PRP and see how they stand up under pressure.

First off, they say Tsunamy has unlimited power and was unfairly elected. As it turns out Tsunamy does not have unlimited power as anyone who has ever read the Charter would know. I guess they can't be bothered to read our laws though. Also, Tsu was not unfairly elected. In fact, the has been reelected by WA members in TSP using a process many see as groundbreaking.

He also says the same about our Prime Minister. Once again, if they would read the Charter, they would know that the PM has little power and our current one has been reelected two times! that's all I have to say there.

Now before I get into this last section it is worth noting that Orderea, the founder of PRP, has said that in order to fix the problems the party lays out like, actually, they don't really lay out anything other than "our current system is bad", WA members must make him delegate so he can overthrow the forum and the government. That last part sounds a bit like a coup. Just saying.

Now here is why I am writing this. PRP had a discord which I joined and I planned to just watch and observe so if something needed to be reported on I could report it. Well, when I saw that Orderea was saying he just wanted to fix the region I decided to say something. I said, in short, that Orderea was just a power hungry individual trying to use others for his own gain. Then this exchange happened in a private message:
Quote:[8:05 PM] Orderea: You are banned if you call me "power hungry" one more time.
[8:07 PM] Omega: For someone who believes in individual rights you sure are quick to threaten to take mine away...
[8:07 PM] Orderea: Yours are bad. That is why.
So as it turns out, this nation, who says he is trying to help the people and protect their rights, believes he can take away my rights because they "are bad". But wait there is more. Now I respected his wish to not call him power hungry, I instead called him hungry for power which I was not prohibited from saying. When I did he deleted the post so I remarked that for someone who believes indvidual rights he sure was quick to take them away. I was then banned from the PRP discord.

Here's what the people of TSP need to take away from this:
1. PRP does not understand our laws
2. PRP is being led by a nation who believes he can silence opposition to him and his party
3. The leader of PRP wants to overthrow the region and if he did so it would be next to impossible to guarantee that our rights and freedoms would be protected.

If we want to protect our freedoms and our democracy we must come together and tell the members of PRP that we will not tolerate this kind of party in TSP.
Above all else, I hope to be a decent person.
