[split] Moderation Policy in the Assembly

Anyways, in your rush to silence any critical speech about your history and future, you might want to read the full moderation policies, particularly the part on politics.

Also, there's no warning for threadjacking in the policies, only "excessive threadjacking." One post is not excessive. Again, you ought to read the full set of policies, which also discuss how to deal with threads that drift off topic.

You're right that I wrote our entire set of policies. Read them when you get a chance.

I have split the above post from this thread because you were threadjacking. Again. You don't take over a thread in the Assembly to argue about how moderation was applied to your post; we have the Operations Center for that, and you know that.

To address your points:

- I have in fact read the Forum Administration and Moderation Policy thread in its entirety. The part on politics does not apply to your warning; you engaged in completely off-topic baiting of another forum user in a way that had absolutely nothing to do with politics or the thread in which you were posting.

- Regarding threadjacking, you were not warned solely for threadjacking but rather for threadjacking and baiting, and baiting carries a penalty of ten points.

- I have read how to handle posts that drift off-topic:

Quote:The only time moderators should get involved is if a minority of users are disrupting the discussion to the detriment of all the other participants. This isn’t for moderators to decide themselves. We should wait until there’s a report made, or it becomes obviously clear that things will start going downhill.

Now, instead of trying to rules lawyer and argue that you shouldn't have been warned for threadjacking and baiting when you were obviously threadjacking and baiting, perhaps you should pause and consider your recent behavior toward multiple users of this forum and TSP's Discord server, because that behavior has been unacceptable from anyone -- let alone from a forum administrator. You seriously need to get a grip and start behaving with some decorum; you're going too far way too often, and there are many people concerned about how far you are taking things lately. If it persists, I recommend that @Tsunamy and @Kris Kringle have a serious discussion about the propriety of you continuing to serve as a forum administrator.

In the meantime, please stop disrupting the Assembly with your threadjacking, baiting, and trolling. Thanks.

How is it threadjacking to talk about the moderation policies... in a thread about the moderation policies? I literally replied to your post about the policies, and talked about how you're inappropriately applying them.

The Operations Center isn't where you get to send people who want to talk about your actions. You started a thread in the Assembly about moderation. You get to discuss it with your constituents in that thread.
