I think the problem is that there isn't a way to do this without politicizing it, same way with SCOTUS. I mean, the reason Justices aren't reconfirmed is because it would politicize it much too much.

So, the impression I get is people would prefer to expand the scope of recalls instead of have a form of mandatory re-confirmation? I think that's a mistake as a recall is inherently hostile, unlike a re-confirmation vote, and I don't think people should simply serve indefinite and permanent terms without periodic approval from the Assembly.

But, if people are cool with such indefinite terms, I can draft something to reflect the Assembly's preferences.

Well said, and I would be open to supporting your proposal given both this and sand's comment. However I agree that SPSF generals have no reason to be included in this and that instead the MoMa's powers should just be heightened.
