I think the problem is that there isn't a way to do this without politicizing it, same way with SCOTUS. I mean, the reason Justices aren't reconfirmed is because it would politicize it much too much.

Well said, and I would be open to supporting your proposal given both this and sand's comment. However I agree that SPSF generals have no reason to be included in this and that instead the MoMa's powers should just be heightened.
