The civil law of the federation recognizes unions contracted between members of the same sex abroad. It does not recognize, however, unions contracted within the federation, leading citizens to travel abroad to have their unions celebrated/contracted. While uncommon, some Tecorogans are same-sex couples.

West Carlisten traditionally fully recognises the equality of homo- and bisexual individuals and despite Christian influence in the past two centuries has never abolished these laws.

Charles Rock on the other hand does not recognise same-sex partnerships and has not repealed a colonial law banning sodomy. However the law banning sodomy was weakly enforced in colonial times and is currently unenforced. The most recent attempt to enforce this law was two decades ago, in a number of cases widely seen as entirely politically motivated.

Eaglesian law fully supports the right of all individual, same-sex and otherwise, to marry and have intercourse with anyone of their choosing, so long as it is consensual with all parties.
