So, in an effort to drive a little writing activity, the Silicon Pens has opted to start writing an alternate chapter story (or some catchier name), whereby one person writes a short chapter of a story and then another person is nominated to continue it and so on. The idea is to write a long-form story (which may still be a short story) with no one person in charge of the overall direction. Each writer might have their own agenda, their own focus, but they will, somehow, tell the same story.

The purpose of this thread is to garner the interest of writers and to decide who gets to write the next chapter (as it might be a time-consuming task and it would be oh-so-frustrating if you were working on chapter IX, only to see someone else post it).

I have written chapter one, just to get us started, and have named the story 'Memoria'. Who knows if that will turn out to be a good title or not, eh?

I'll keep a note of who is writing the next chapter below, so there's an easy point of reference if things get bogged down and we need to switch, etc.
