Christmas Puns!
Hello there, South Pacificans! Later this month, we will be celebrating the birth of Jesus, born of the virgin Mary, which is why we say "Mary Christmas"! Germans instead say "Fröhliche Weihnachten", while sheep from Mexico say "Fleece Navidad". Different cultures have different traditions for this holiday. For example, in the USA, many think of Santa Claus, also known as Kris Kringle, who will judge children, bringing the good ones toys. While he is certainly not alone in this endeavour, the subordinate clauses referred to in the subordinate clause are seen as a subordinate cause. Santa Clause travels to each house on a sleigh pulled by magic flying rain deer (the precipitation causes a white christmas), where he comes down the chimney to put the presents under the Christmas tree (this soots him well). There's an illness that really hits people hard around Christmas. It gives them the urge to have all babies around them killed. Scientists are still researching what causes it - so far they've found out it's genetic.
