Letter of Resignation
#1

With the vote closing overnight and Tsu having graciously shared his concession speech, it is with mixed emotions that I tender my resignation from the position of Minister of Regional Affairs within the Cabinet to the Assembly and the region at large. I have greatly enjoyed my truncated term with my colleagues and I wish them all the best for the remainder of the term as I look forward to a new role with new responsibilities and, I suspect, new challenges.

I have already given the rest of the cabinet my nomination of Kanglia for my successor until the next elections, though it is entirely up to them whom they appoint.

Thank you to Tsu for running a delightful campaign and for being so gracious this last week. And thank you to everyone who voted, whether for me or not, in both rounds. It has been a great display of our regional democracy and I promise I'll do my very best to serve the region and the cabinet as delegate, starting with the transition period which will begin (for me at least) tomorrow.

Thank you. Smile
