Online Rulings Consultation System

While the primary function of the High Court is to perform the functions assigned to it by the Judicial Act, it has an additional duty to make itself an accessible institution, and further to ensure that all South Pacificans may have access to a variety of resources related to the judicial function.

In consistency with that duty, the Court will make available to the public the Online Rulings Consultation System, a resource often used during the course of case considerations. ORCS contains details and reference links for all cases decided since the establishment of the Supreme Court, after the 2013 Great Council, and is regularly updated as more cases are decided.

It is my hope that this resource will be useful as a matter of historical interest, and also as a tool for legislative and judicial research, by both legislators and non-legislators alike.
