[FAILED] The Commendation/Censure Act |
Legislators,
A bill has been introduced to allow the Assembly to Commend or Censure individuals or groups. The debate thread can be found here. A motion and a second have been received to bring this bill to a vote. As this bill is for a general law, the voting period is three days and will require a simple majority to pass. The vote will end on 8 November, 2018, at 4:30 p.m. (UTC). Please vote by poll if possible. If you cannot vote by poll, post 'Aye', 'Nay' or 'Abstain' in this thread. Please do not vote both by poll and by post. Comments and discussion belong in the debate thread and may be moved there. Quote: The vote to adopt the Commendation/Censure Act has failed. The final tally is 14 in favour, 17 in opposition, with 8 abstentions.[1] A spreadsheet of the vote is attached for your convenience. [1] Non-Legislator @Omega was able to access the Voting Chamber and cast a vote. This was due to an oversight error which has since been corrected. The vote has been excluded from the final tally. Apologies for any confusion. |
