Survive the crazy month (we also have 4 birthdays!). Preferably with some money left...

If you figure this out, could you please let me know? My wife is dealing with this (her 35th birthday was Dec 1st), and is having major issues with "going down the hill to 40"...

Surely, you have reindeer to whip into shape, elves to manage, and a sleigh that needs some tending to all before the big night!

If I were to have written a bucket list, it'd probably look like this:
  • Survive wife's birthday weekend
  • Set up tree
  • Hope and pray the dog doesnt destroy tree
  • Make it to Longwood Gardens for their spectacular Christmas setup (since Ive been a member for 5 or 6 years now, and have NEVER made it to their Christmas event)
  • Make sure to not spend Christmas money on nephews birthday presents
  • Buy nephews birthday presents
  • Drive (4 hours, round trip) to nephews 3rd birthday party
  • Drive to family Christmas (same area as nephews birthday party) the next weekend
  • Survive in-laws family Christmas party
  • Dec. 20th: buy ALL the presents
  • hope all the presents ship in time
  • wrap like hell
  • enjoy Christmas morning with my wife (and our pup)
Just a short list, no? Tounge

You can buy half-trees now to deter (or, as I like to call it, 'provide an interesting challenge for') pets. They look even sillier than those upside-down trees that were in vogue for short while about a decade ago.
