Statement and Apology from the New Pacific Order to The South Pacific
#1

To the citizens, Delegate, and region of The South Pacific,

First we wish to assure you that Pergamon’s words about subverting TSP elections were not in any way known to the former Senate. He states that this was a trap to lure out a DoS player in the region at the time, through the one suspected to be the DoS player’s agent to whom Pergamon fed the information. We can confirm that Pergamon was tasked with trying to prove this by Aleisyr, as it was a matter of our own internal security. We can also confirm that this DoS player has attempted to use similar bait Pergamon set as ammunition against the New Pacific Order since his ban. He gave this information to Cormac, who refrained from using it after he was informed because the source was a DoS player. There have been no attempts by The Pacific to interfere in The South Pacific’s internal processes.

The South Pacific was not informed as to the identity of Adytus because Aleisyr told Feux to let the identity die. In April Aleisyr reached out to Feux about tarting in the region and serving on the Council of Nations. Feux revealed that he was Adytus to Aleisyr in that conversation, and they used Adytus as a hedge against opposition to Imki as he was still being tarted on to take the region by those attempting to overthrow Imki’s coup of the Khanate. If Adytus took the Delegacy through the opposition, he would immediately kick all of the nations and restore the region to Imki. Adytus was put to rest as an identity after Imki secured Lazarus, as there was no longer a purpose for him. Aleisyr in September told Feux definitively not to bring Adytus back when the idea to revive him was proprosed.

Block and Attero cannot be excused, only described as gross negligence and thoughtlessness. While we were not treaty allies at the time of Comrade Sarah, we were at the time of Block. That required that we should have informed you. Regard for the safety of the community also should have required the same. Instead it was considered not important because it was assumed that 94 Block would out himself soon enough. There was no thought put into the idea that Block was dangerous, because the fact that he had doxxed Tim was not known to Pergamon. If it was known to Feux we are not sure, but it is more likely.

The North Pacific and Lazarus are explained by the suspicion that raiders had infiltrated the regions and were going to end up in leadership positions there. Specifically handling the rise of Lone Wolves United in Lazarus was considered a priority, which was planned by Pergamon. The North Pacific was more a concern about The Black Hawks than Lone Wolves United. However, this is merely the reasoning that was used at the time, and not an excuse for why they happened. No matter the intentions, they were violations of regional sovereignty by a foreign power.

For the offense of speaking of subverting your elections, for the offense of not informing you as to the identities of certain individuals, for the offense of not exposing 94 Block from the start, we apologize sincerely. There was no intent to harm The South Pacific, but we nonetheless enabled the potential to do exactly that. We very much regret that we did not meet the requirements of a formal alliance sufficiently in this time.
