Subforum Request
#1

Can I get a subforum entitled "Straw Polls" under "South Pacific Independent News Network"? I'll explain if I have to.

Please do explain. What would it be about? Is it something that can't be posted in either the main SPINN forum or its Editorial Centre?

Well, straw poll is defined as: "A straw poll or straw vote is a vote with nonbinding results." from Wikipedia. It would be essentially a vote that would show how much of TSP that bothered to vote would vote for one canidate or another in Elections, as well as other things that require a vote, but mostly Elections. I wanted a subforum that SPINN could edit, hide, and show when it is needed. The data gathered from "Straw Polls" would just go into SPINN. I'm requesting a Subforum also so that I don't spam LB&G with polls.

Fair enough.

I don't know how possible it would be for SPINN Staff to show/hide subforums are needed. I'd rather let Tsu or Glen answer that question. If not possible, us three do have enough access to hide subforums upon request. That's what we always do with Election Central.

It's done. If you (or Bel, as EiC) want to change something, be it permissions, order of the subforums, etc., just tell me. Right now everyone can post, but only citizens and up can post polls or vote in polls.

There's no way to allow you guys to show/hide subforums without giving access to the ACP. So when you want the forums shown and hidden, just shoot the admins a PM.
