So, I thought that I could draft this here, and look for comments here before getting torn apart at the GA forums.
I had this idea almost 3 months ago, but, then the MoRA elections happened, and I was busy.
Repeal the Nuclear Arms Possession Act
- Noting that Nuclear Arms and other Weapons of Mass Destruction pose a major threat to life and can lead to extinction
- Acknowledging that a minority of Nations are part of the World Assembly
- Further Acknowledging that only World Assembly member nations are required to comply with WA resolutions
- Recognizing that all nations WA should have the right to defend themselves from Nuclear Weapons if attacked
- Applauding the Resolution's attempt to ensure rights for all World Assembly Nations while attempting to limit the usage of Nuclear Weapons
- Observing that the resolution makes no attempt to define a "nuclear weapon"
- Concerned that clauses three does not attempt to define "bad hands," not referencing the nature of those hands, or whom they may belong to
- Hoping that the repeal of this resolution will lead to new legislation more equipped to defending and protecting Nation's rights to possess nuclear weapons safely
- Hereby repeals GA#10 (Nuclear Arms Possession Act)
Please Comment.
