Fyrelight started as a loose collection of towns who have banded together to provide protection to each other, inhabited mainly by Elves and humans proficient in the various schools of magic.  Over time, the coalition of towns grew to a larger size, growing more powerful, and establishing the famous School of Magics in Wintaryth, providing education to magically-proficient beings across the world.  The Wintaryth School of Magics continues to this day to provide state-of-the-art teachings.  

The flag of Fyrelight, designed by Indis Moni 700 years ago, features a prominent flame on top of a carefully-woven forest of dark green and emerald green, outlined into coniferous tree-like shapes with golden and silver thread.

Fyrelight is ruled by King Damais and Queen Kirsa, and their only child, Princess Kirana.  The King has appointed 5 advisors to his council, The Queen appointed 3.  The Princess is betrothed to Mage Elswin, apprentice of Transfigurations and master of Forest Elemental magics.  The King has 6 siblings, each who rule over a few of the districts in Fyrelight.  Bishops Jaklyn of Candlehover, Remulais of Spearhead, Evryn of Firestone, Lasryn of Aesthentia, Borais of Dimwyrm, and Haryn of Lystarian.  The Queen has 2 siblings, who rule over a few districts.  Bishops Elsys of Thornbrush and Niv of Bendwhyn.

The Capital of Fyrelight is Embyrian, in the district of Halcyona.  

Many languages are spoken in Fyrelight, though Kirstanian is used predominantly.  Kirstanian is followed closely behind Warinthian.
