ANNOUNCEMENT
SUBMISSIONS POLICY FOR GUEST CONTRIBUTORS

The SPINN takes submissions from any and all South Pacificans for some of its publications: recipes for Culinary Corner and opinion columns, essays and analyses for Random Musings. Submissions are reviewed by our senior editors and may be declined if they are not up to our editorial and quality standards. If accepted, the submission will be published and the author will be credited, unless they have specifically requested to remain anonymous.

Submissions for Culinary Corner should contain the following sections:

Title: The name of the dish or drink.

Introduction: A 1-line introduction to the recipe.

Chef's Tip: A tip for how to handle oneself in the kitchen or for how to make the dish or drink better.

Ingredients: The ingredients for the recipe. Quantities should, when possible, be listed in the metric system, but volume is also acceptable.

Preparation: The steps needed to prepare the dish of drink. Only one action should be included per step.

Submissions for Random Musings should contain the following sections:

Length: The preferred length is 300-600 words, but longer submissions may be accepted.

Relevance: The topic must be related to NationStates or the South Pacific. Topics of a real life importance could be accepted if sufficiently justified when sending the submission.

Restrictions: The topic cannot be racist, fascist, bigoted or otherwise hateful. We reserve the right to decline submissions on other objectionable topics.

Submissions can be sent through telegram on NationStates, private message on this forum or to SPINN#1907 on Discord.
