COAL'S OUT FOR ROBINSONWANEL

Today, the state of Robinsonwanel has joined the other 15 states who have officially became carbon-neutral in terms of energy production after shutting down it's last coal energy generation plant in Torftal this afternoon in a ceremony held by the chief executive officer of Bersches Energie, the national government-owned utilities corporation, Hagan Krantz and the Minister-President of the State of Robinsonwanel, Jutta Schmitt. 55 employees are to be retrained at the Torftal School of Further Education.

All employees in the coal mining industry have been retrained or reemployed into other sectors of the Besernian industries. Those who have been retrenched are eligible for an employment adjustment grant from their state governments. The Workforce Development Council of Besern and the Employment and Employability Institutes of Besern have eased this transition positively for the moment, with those retrenched and retrained reemployed into including but not limited to solar maintenance, geothermal power industries, the hydropower industry and the biomass industry.

The last two states who have existing coal or diesel power plants, Antillstein and Haoenewald are expected to phase out non-carbon neutral energy production these coming months, aiming at October and November respectively.

The coal mining industry have also undergone similar retraining as it declines.

VALKRYIAN SWIMMERS GETS OBLITERATED; BY THE WATER AND BY ABUSIVE HYSTAGIAN FANS

At the Vorauhalden Aquatics Centre, the heats of the boys' 400m freestyle, 100m backstroke, and 100m breaststroke and the girls' 50m breaststroke and 100m backstroke were a moment of horrible luck for the Valkryian youth team after their swimmers finished dead last for all of the boys' heats and the aforementioned girls' heats.

However, this may seem to be a result of the situation on the 3JO bus (temporarily called 3JO, will revert to 452) yesterday, after a group of Hystagian fans harassed the Valkryian aquatics team with squeezing and insults relating to the Kalkara War or the rivalry of the Valkryian Republic and the Union of Hystagia. The aquatics team attempted to fend off the harrassment by moving to the upper deck, only to find that the fans also followed them up.

The group have been taken into custody for public nuisance and harassment after the bus reached Vorhagenfeldschule bus stop (927311). To prevent further harrassment, the police escorted the Valkryian aquatics team towards the Youth Olympic Village after they alighted.

"We call on all to respect and observe human dignity, regardless of war or rivalry. The fundamentals of Olympism do not accommodate discrimination of race, nationality, religion, sex, and so on and so forth.", quoted from a representative from the Zersbach 2021 Office.

The Valkryrian aquatics team were looking quite 'somewhat tired' and 'harassed'

Nonetheless, many other teams and the general public got with each other together very well as the Zersbach metrobahn became very crowded and hotspots for fans to meet their athletes in person, especially the so-called 'choke point' at Unterhoctal station where barricades were placed by station staff at escalators and the concourse for the spectators and the general public to welcome the athletes and to wish them all the best for the Youth Olympiad.

THE MANTA FLEET; THE RACE IS ON

The recently announced circumnavigation of the Cordilian continent of the Manta Fleet of the Izaakian Navy has gotten anti-Izaakia and pro-Izaakia communities together to pressure the port authorities of Rungenbouen to either refuse or allow docking or/and anchoring within the port and the state of Rungenbouen respectively. There is also pressure on the Besernian Coast Guard to either allow the Manta Fleet into Besernian waters or to chase them out to international waters.

Predictions show that since the fleet is banned from entering blockade waters set by the Frost Empire, they would have to pass the northern coast of Holy Free and Besern after leaving the strait that divides GI-Land. Some predictions also show that the Manta Fleet may be critically low on supply and/or fuel if the port authorities of Rungenbouen do not allow the Manta Fleet to dock, as the previous docking port would have been Kosbareland or Rhayna.

The coastal city of Rungenbouen is a natural port due to the geography of the Haoene region. It is said that this port are one of the most popular and largest of ports in the Northern Cordilian and the South Pacific region.
