How to get your localid

Getting your localid is very easy. Just follow these steps:

  1. Log into NationStates and go to the Settings page.
  2. View the page source of the Settings page.
  3. Using CTRL+F or ⌘+F, search for "localid". You'll find a line that looks like this:
    <input type="hidden" name="localid" value="abcdE1FGHiJkl">
  4. Your localid is the random string inside the value parameter. In this case: abcdE1FGHiJkl

    5. Important: Don't navigate through NationStates while using Archer. Your localid can change based on your activity. If it does, you'll get an error when trying to endorse a nation.
