- A public vote may be cast via the Public Voting Booth, which will print the vote as a reply to a designated voting thread.
- A private vote may be cast via the Private Voting Booth, which will send the vote as a message to an account accessible only by the Election Commissioner. Every private vote is assigned a reference code known only to each individual voter, so that they identify their vote once the tally is released.

INTERPRETATION OF VOTES
There are certain circumstances in which the Election Commissioner will exercise their discretion to determine whether a vote is valid. The following is a non-exhaustive list of cases where the Commissioner may exercise their discretion:
- A vote where a candidate is mentioned more than once consecutively will be read as containing a single preference for said candidate.
- A vote where a candidate is mentioned more than once non-consecutively will be considered invalid and will be excluded from the tally.
- A vote that contains preferences for candidates not listed on the official ballot will have those preferences deemed invalid and excluded from the tally, but the vote itself will be deemed valid as long as it contains preferences for candidates listed on the official ballot.
- A vote that has been edited will be considered invalid and will excluded from the tally.
- A vote cast by an ineligible individual will be considered invalid and will be excluded from the tally.
- A vote cast after the voting period has ended will be considered invalid and will be excluded from the tally.
