Welcome to the November 2014 General Elections! This thread pertains to the Minister of Regional Affairs nominations. Elections will follow the procedure outlined in the Code of Laws. Citizens may either suggest or nominate a citizen, or nominate themselves. If a citizen is nominated by another citizen, the nominated must then accept their nomination. Bear in mind the duties of the Minister of Regional Affair are as follows:

Quote:Section 5 - Ministry of Regional Affairs

1. The Ministry of Regional Affairs will be led by the Minister of Regional Affairs.
2. The Ministry is responsible for the integration of citizens into the Community.
3. The Ministry is responsible for planning and carrying out Cultural Events for the region and with allied regions.
4. The Ministry is responsible for promoting RMB and IRC activity and promotion of the regional forums.
5. The Ministry is responsible for directing and running roleplay and the maintenance of the regional map.
6. The Ministry is responsible for creating letters about government happenings, distributing such letters to the region in-game, and posting them on the RMB.

Upon accepting a nominiation, candidates must submit a Conflict of Interest Disclosure. Details on this are found in the Code of Laws

I respectfully decline my nomination. Thanks for the confidence, Uni, but I've already done this kind of thing in Lazarus. I'd rather try my hand at something new so that I can learn more and help my region.

Also, if I accepted all my campaigning for MoFA would be wasted.

I would like to nominate myself for Minister of Regional Affairs. I'll put up a campaign thread tomorrow (today as it's past 00:00 here) as I should be asleep right now.

Edited: Much as I appreciate the nomination,  and believe I could do well at this role, I have decided to decline this one. 

Whoever is elected, I will be happy to help with organizing events or whatever if I have the time, you just need to ask.
