Ask me your questions.

I will not bore you with a poorly written Campaign platform, and instead, I will simply answer any questions asked by the voters and non-voters alike.

Please, and thank you.
Hi!

Could you list the missions that the Special Forces have conducted during your term, and detail what efforts have been made to recruit and train new members?

Foo, memory time!

We've conducted a training mission with Ryccia in An Escape, another, rather secretive training mission with several SPSF members in an expendable region, and assisted TNP in it's Delegatory transition, as well as assisted several liberations like National Socialist Republic and several other, smaller, libs with the people in the "Defender channel"(I'd rather not say, trying to be as unbiased as possible). Possibly a tag or two, but that may have been before my term.

We've sent out a telegram to the region inviting people to join our IRC, #SPSF, but so far, very few have joined with none actually sticking around long enough to even be greeted by me or Raven, and the fact that my bouncer is having problems does not help me in the slightest.

However, we have recruited from within the FP's ranks itself, with Feirmont and Bono joining us on several missions, namely raids. Ryccia also joined us, and did two training missions with me. I consider him to be a soldier, but as a piler mostly, due to his large inability to make update thanks to time zones.

We've also recruited Andre(w), from TSP's allies, to help with us. I will be using Raven's administrative thread a bit more
in the coming days and weeks, and hope to continue using it in the new term.

We also have several liasons on loan form our allies, Severisen from TEP, Wolf from TNP, and Eluvatar from TNP. All are more than capable to assist, and I will call upon them to help with the SPSF in it's recruit and training. Wolf has offered to write guides.

"Do you support the 75% requirement for the Assembly to pass major decisions, such as on citizenship matters or on amendments?" ~ Dali

For constitutional amendments, 75% is a good requirement. For things that the Cabinet had a say in, 75% is far too much. I feel the only way to handle this would be to either drop those kinds of things to a lower amount, or prevent the Cabinet from voting.

Thank you.
Why have we not heard any of this throughout your term? Surely advertising and letting the region know that we even have a military is an important aspect of recruitment?

I'm not going to pretend. I suck at recruiting, and often ask for help from others, when I do ask. I wish the next Minister of Regional Affairs luck, andI ask them to help with recruiting, regardless of the outcome of this election.

Plus, like my last two predecessors, I tend to rely on the IRC in order to explain to new recruits just how things work. Wolf has kindly offered his help in writing guides for the SPSF, and I will be relying on him to help with writing a new recruitment telegram to send out to TSP once more.

Plus, if we can get the SPSF at the top of regional things to do in the welcoming telegram, I'm certain that would help our situation drastically. I'll draft up a paragraph for tsu.

Ah, the wonders of technology. I'm on Tapatalk!
I am sorry, but I need to be blunt here.

During the Great Council we had an extensive discussion on the merits of demilitarization, and it was widely proposed that we give the next Minister of the Army the chance to prove that the military could be revived and turned into a successful force. You are that next Minister, and I think it is safe to say that the objective has not been met, nor does it look like we are anywhere near it.

I am not trying to revive the demilitarization argument, since a campaign thread is not the right place for it, nor do I think this would be the right time for such a proposal. However, I do question if you are the right person to continue leading the military. You had a term as General and have now served half a term as Minister. Under your watch the military has not become the force we hoped it would become. To the outside and otherwise uninformed observer the military is pretty much dead, is they even know we have a military. Why give you four more months?
I'll be asking this to all those who want to be re-elected, what have you done in your current position? Secondly I don't think there has been any requirement while you have been MoA, like Kris said why should we give you another four terms?

I don't want to step on toes here, but I did send a recruitment telegram for the SPSF. It just took it a bit of time to send it out. Henn was actually quite prompt on getting it me.
I know. My question was more directed toward his overall recruitment strategy.
What are your personal goals for another term?

What do you see as your biggest obstacle in accomplishing these goals?

What type of activities do you plan on increasing or decreasing with the military?
