Taking Off
|
Our region finds itself in another exiting election cycle. It is time for you to decide who should lead our great Special Forces. I implore you to look through your singular wide array of options.
A lot of progress has been made in the past few months - a sudden influx of a couple talented officers has reinvigorated the Corp. I do believe a handful of inefficient practices has held us from gaining numbers as fast as I would like. The time and technical commitment makes new, active recruits rare, and thus we have to be comfortable with leading with a limited staff. The SPSF, while being an incredibly active force in Military GP as a whole, remains a largely invisible force in the region outside of regular reports. I firmly believe that, rather than solely lead the military, it is the MoMA's job to act as the representative of the military to the region at large - showing those that may not frequent the reports what their SPSF can do. These two major areas serve as the core of my platform. Many other candidates seem to be writing books. I will attempt to be brief. Here's just a few things you'd see out of an Heli MoMA. |
Targeted Recruitment
|
In my last term, we attempted a system of second-login telegramming that ultimately proved to be both ineffective and incredibly time consuming. As military GP is a sizable commitment compared to other parts of the game, we should only be focusing on players that are becoming active. This takes the form of messaging new legislators and placing recruitment messages in places frequented by more serious players.

Community Engagement
|
A list of defended regions does not constitute engagement with the larger TSP community. I, along with the SPSF as a whole, should be visible. We can do this through small projects, like hosting an SPSF art contest, publishing stories from the front lines or even showcasing the achievements of newer members. The beauty of this is that much of it can be done with people that don't update, further allowing us to become a larger part of our community.

Rewarding Hard Work
|
Your reward for hard work in the SPSF is currently your rank, which is plenty for many. I do, however, believe that rank does not always very accurately reflect the work someone has put in. Do not misunderstand me, I am not suggesting anything with great amounts of pomp and circumstance - we simply don't have the dozens of people it would take to make that feel genuine. I believe we need a system of awards to give SPSF members, particularly new ones, something to work towards rather than getting bored and leaving entirely.

Ally-Assisted Training |
As I discovered in my own military training, guides can only take you so far. Nakari created an excellent guide to being a Soldier, but we found writing a similar one for Officers to be harder, and writing one for Commanders would be simply impossible. I want to work with allies to stage a series of wargames designed as mutual training exercises. Not only does this let us challenge new leaders, but it allows us to strengthen ties with our military allies in a meaningful way.

I have not held citizenship or offices in any other region. TSP has always and will always be my home. I do not go by any alias other than Heliseum (or Heli for short). I hold a number of puppets, but they are all used exclusively for R/D. I have never used any of them as an alias. In TSP I have previously been an Advisor to MoFA, UCR Ambassador, MoMA, and an embarrassingly inactive Fellow in MoRA. |
