Citizens of the Coalition,

With the term coming to an end, I have prepared a brief address on my time in office for the latter portion of the term. Having only served since mid-August, I did not hold my position for the full term, but I feel there are several things to note.

First, I would like to thank Prime Minister for their leadership and guidance throughout this term, it has been invaluable. Additionally, I’d like to thank for aiding me in getting set up with the ministry upon my election, and the ministry staffers who hosted and aided in several events throughout the past term. As I have stated before, I will not be seeking re-election, wish my successor the best of luck, and will do what is expected in preparing them to take office following the election.

Thinking back on this term and the several which have preceded it, I hope this region and its future administrations can do some introspection. It seems apparent to me that an abnormally large number of players tend to run far from leadership after a brief taste of it, and this does not seem healthy for sustainable management.

This term has been mildly difficult, several real-life issues have made things a bit hectic for me in managing my duties, thus I did not accomplish everything I had hoped to in this time. Nonetheless, I feel we have completed some notable things in the two or so months that I served. Here are several of those that I feel worthy of being reported,
  • The continuing of regular events, such as Tetr.io (hosted by ) and Theme Thursday (by myself). Additionally, the introduction of a trivia event held by . While these are not larger scale things, I think they’re important for involving staffers and generating some activity for the community.
  • UDS-TSP Anniversary Festival, meant to commemorate the fourth anniversary of the Treaty of Democratic Unity. While engagement left some to be desired, I was happy to work with staffers and to make this event with our Unionist friends. I’d like to give a major shoutout to Guess and Check (aka Zukchiva) for the immense amount of work they put into it, as well as thank President Die Kronprinzessin and the UDS organizers/administrators for their work and contribution.
  • Gameside and internal feedback forms, the former coupled with a cards giveaway (part one, part two) held alongside the Ministry of Engagement. This event was able to involve a number of gameside players and gain some important feedback which I will pass on to future ministry leadership if they so desire.
Thank you again for your confidence in me to hold this office following my predecessor's untimely resignation.

All the best,
New Quebecshire
