I have a (female) friend whose father is Portuguese (well, sorta. We don't speak that much anymore) and there's a lot of people in my school of Portuguese and Italian descent.

I'm a bit socially awkward myself, but I have 7 or so close friends in RL.

Also saw my first funnel cloud today. It was really hit with the afternoon being plagued by storms from all directions. One storm which was very dangerous and coming for me produced a funnel cloud which lasted for about two minutes. The the storm slowed down and was downgraded from being a storm. Funnel clouds and tornadoes are becoming a bit common in Australia after the weird weather thing that moved through the east.
