Broad solutions to in-game inclusion |
It seems too complicated in someways. Having two houses voting would take too long and we may not get enough people.

Hey, I have a bunch of issues. You don't need to care. Emoji of the week: :dodgy:
Bicameral legislatures are bad idea; they tend to be highly dysfunctional. What I'm proposing is requiring a secondary approval vote for select matters passed by the Assembly, conducted by regional poll.

Your all assuming the RMB folks want to play. Until we get word from them, anything we do will fall on deaf ears.
Lets get a poll going on game side before we go any further with this debate. We will have our answer shortly.

Honestly I think the one thing that should have happened already is a regional poll or survey on the issue, since a major part of the debate involves whether they even want to get involved. Make a poll like:
Should the gameside region have greater political power? *[Various yes options that cover the broad proposals like delegate voting, assembly voting, expanding the LC, etc] *Keep the system the same *Reduce involvement [Not something we want, but a valid opinion]

Further, no rights are being taken away; people who don't have a WA in TSP for whatever reason can still vote in the first round of balloting, which would continue to occur on the forums. Ok, I'd say the poll is pretty decisive. I think we can all agree to some form of dual-ballot for the Delegacy as a starting point, but what form of legislative power should we transfer? What do people think about my proposal for a second, approval vote on select assembly legislation once it has been passed?
