Even now the Clinton vs Trump polls only put the difference at around 10% at most. And that makes the position far from certain when even the 5-10% lead she does have includes around 10% undecided. While at this point it certainly still favours Clinton a major Democrat victory is anything but certain.
The Democrats should also be looking to take back the Senate and closing the gap in the House. If there is a Republican White House, Republican Senate, Republican House, and Republican Supreme Court, we are screwed.
