I Meant to do this ages ago but I'll get to it now while I have the time. 

I think we need to get this back off the ground and start to better organize what we have and what we want with what it used to be.

I'm glad you started this thread, since TSPU is indeed something we need to work on. I may be the Minister, but a good ideas is a good idea, regardless of who comes up with it!

I think what happens with TSPU is that:

(a) We aren't actively working on it, meaning we ourselves don't post in it nor do we advertise it as an interesting part of the forum, meaning other people don't notice it or don't see it as an area worth posting in.
(b) It doesn't have an adequate focus. It is called a University, but it has some real life topics, in which not many people post anyways. Everyone should have a clear idea of what they can post in TSPU and feel encouraged to do it, because of the interesting topics already being discussed.

If we can start making TSPU active, and give it an adequate focus, then I think we'll be on the right track.

On the old forums it was more organized and people couldn't just post whatever. It was set up a bit differently to encourage a slightly higher standard than the RP section. I think we need to,try and get it back to that. If that's at all possible.

What's the general vision for the TSPU? I thought it was just a board about posting discussions; but I assume it's supposed to be RP related?

No, it's supposed to be our version of NS General and Arts & Fiction, I think.
