The main one. Because I could so see me, in the middle of a serious moment (life hangs in the balance), trying to start a dance off contest with the bad guy. People have told me that I am just that way when I hit my groove mode.

Have you seen Boondock Saints? That one I am, my kids all told me so, most closely related to The Ghost. Yep that old scary guy.

I love your story and how sweet it was. Just thinking about how relieved that man and his family must have felt and how much his belief in people and innate goodness must have been affirmed. I think it's so good to hear and share the affirming and positive.

There are a lot of small things I'm grateful for and sometimes the nicest thing is when a stranger just smiles at you and you smile back knowing that the world is a good place.

I see us passing each other on some road, some where in time, sharing a smile then stopping for a moment for a talk that leads to a cup of coffee/tea or some other fun drink and becoming friends from that point on. I do enjoy sharing more the positive things in life, although I also share the ugly things in life as well (although with an LR spin on things, after all if you can't laugh at the ugly things in life then it no longer is fun, at least that is my way of thinking) although at the time that it is all going on I honestly am not thinking about how much fun it is...anyway back on track.

I do hope that everyone is having fun

I had a whole rant about something that happened yesterday, but then I am today like Meh it is done and over with. Although I am looking at a few things now and realize that I am doing what I usually do when I am worried or even stressed about something. Using the internet as a distraction tool, which in some cases is a very good thing to do, in this case it is a good thing. Although I am about to share the story with you.

One of my girls, understand that I am one of those people that kids grew up calling me "mum", I was that neighborhood type of mom so I have about 80 kids that to this day call me "mum". I gave birth to 3 wonderful daughters, two of which have given me the joy of becoming Oma. My youngest one has told me, in very certain terms with no conditions, that she is not going to have any children. This is her choice and I am so happy for her in it, do not think that I am anything more or less than that. Her body, her life, her choice that is how I have always thought of my girls.

So back to the original thought process. My older two daughters met two other girls, their story somewhat similar to ours, single mothers just trying to get away from a dark past and move into a brighter future with their children. Well those two girls became like my daughters, basically the whole "I love these girls to pieces, ever hurt them and you will be in pieces", so I have had the joy in this life to have my soul family come together. I have my three heart daughters (those that I gave birth to) and my soul daughters (the two that are mine by life). Anyway, just a couple of days ago, yes that would be Thursday, one of my girls went into the hospital to have brain surgery and I have been on pins and needles since that day. Today she is on FB and in a lot of pain but still doing great.

She is supposed to be released tomorrow, which I am not certain that is a good thing, but what can we really do about it if the hospital and doctors say she is alright to go home. I thought that with the surgery out of the way that it would get easier to not worry, man I was so wrong. So honestly people, careful what you wish for, you just might get it comes to mind here. Yes please laugh with me.

I can't think of the name of her disease, but if you google zipper heads then you will get an idea of what it is. Just be careful the images can be a bit graphic.

Anyway enough with the dark stuff, How are ya'll doing this wonderful Superbowl Sunday? I am happily watching SyFy and about to watch a couple of movies.

/Edit for Mini Rant: WHY IN B RATED HORROR MOVIES IS IT ALWAYS THE DOG THAT GETS IT? yes I am rather upset with this thought right now.

Yes, I'm in NYC so if you're ever in the area let's work something out I love all kinds of happy drinks!

And def. life is good and bad. We share the good to help lighten other people's souls and give them hope and we share the bad to lighten our souls and show people that you can get through this.

Thank you so much Escade for your kind words. I hope on one hand that she gets to go home today, but on the other hand I am screaming inside my own head, "what are they thinking it is too soon to send her home". The duality of life leads to many wonderful fun things

Certainly if I am ever in that part of the country again, not planning a trip there at this time for which might be a good thing, I will let you know ahead of time and we can go for some fun drinks together

and if you are ever in my neck of the woods, Las Vegas, please let me know
