Delegate Statement on Belschaft Citizenship Removal

I don't think someone who agrees that OBLT is "fair" and "100%" legal sould be in our highest office. When was Bel punished for this but not tsu? In fact was OBLT even illegal?

Punch, I certainly understand your frustration.

Let me clear: recruiting citizens for this region isn't an illegal offense. Bel -- as is everyone -- can certainly bring friends.

That's a different situation than setting up for a forum in another region to systematically set up an election. I'm happy to defend Bel's right to invite friends to the region, but I'd never support a coordinated effort that involved planning in another region.

It is not the fact that he supported the motion to remove Bel's citizenship, it's the fact that he agreed with Bel and OLBT. By the way until Bel is proven to be a security threat meaning he is found guilty of treason you have committed a crime. You have removed a innocent citizen's citizenship for pitiful reasons. You are innocent until proven guilty.

Just answer me this. Was OLBT illegal? If so I will support the Cabinet's decision if not I will do whatever I can to make sure that Bel is giving back his citizenship and has a fair trail.

I'm tore now. It really depends on how you describe a "systematic invasion". For now at least I will back the Cabinet's decision.

The entire situation? I don't believe it was. Setting up forums and a structure to game the system is a bridge too far.

To be clear, that's not what I understood the situation to be. I thought he was primarily blowing off steam and might invite a friend to the region. Not using foreign forums as a means to subvert our elections.

Punchwood, I would agree that our law is unclear here. Perhaps that is something positive we can work on after the dust has settled.

I'd also like to point out that Bel has been using my liminal understanding of the situation in an attempt to blackmail his way back into power. Regardless of the feelings regarding OBT, we shouldn't forget his attempted intimidation of government officials.

And me.

I am curious as to why it says unanimous.

I believe it means that no one voted against.

To clarify to others: some of the cabinet abstained, including Tsunamy and Henn.

I fully support Tsunamy and I am sad that such a nice person who tries to be neutral in most cases had to deal with bullying.
