Obviously not.

Wait, you're not? Could have fooled me. Tounge

If we could keep this thread on topic (ie. about Glen and his views) that would be awesome.

However, some of the above, was the point of my question as well. If an out-and-out coup isn't the goal anymore, how would you — as a CSS member — determine who is a threat of political nature? This could easily be read — as Sopo asked — as anyone who would oppose the status quo.

I don't think we should be voting on this yet. It's only been up for discussion for two days, and its a fairly significant nomination.

I don't think there's any hard and fast rule you can use, Tsu. It's not about going after those with opposing political views. That's wrong. Things like OBT are where the threat is politically. Those things are hard to prove without the kind of evidence we received. Most of the time, you'll have to know player histories, know the political field (the accusations that Unibot and I were taking over were a red flag that something was likely to happen, for instance), and provide the Cabinet with a risk assessment based on that knowledge. If several people are entering the region after a controversial event, and they have a shared history that raises red flags, that's something that could be a threat.

Ultimately, the CSS doesn't exercise the power we're talking about. Which is good, because the CSS isn't held accountable via elections.

O for god sake, you can't be opposing this. Glen has served this region for many moons now, I don't think he is going to go and backstab us. Most people support it I don't think there is much more (anything at all) to debate.

There was still an unanswered question when you motioned to vote!

I have not stated my support or opposition, but I don't see any reason to rush it. Give it another day or two.

I'll give it another day or two as Sopo has suggested.

Alright moving this to vote, thanks.
