I think it means 12 hrs 35 mins from now, based on the time of the first post.

EDT is Eastern Daylight Time. It is the same as EST but during Daylight Saving, when you turn your clock ahead.

Well, since DS is on in the US, I am able to enjoy a longer period of cartoons in CN.

So, thank you, USA, for losing an hour of sleep so I can watch cartoons for 1 more hour.
