I approve Tsu's vote in favor of Todd's app, and in running the rest of the applications.

Hey guys — can we actually get a voice vote on processing the apps? I think we should get a move on here.

I didn't realise we were voting on Todd's app. I would have voted against - and waited until after the elections to approve his app. I'm disappointed no minister contacted me that there was a voting ongoing on the matter.

It seems Kris also missed this vote.

I feel this was done just as an underhanded way to get Todd in before the elections - you said earlier, Todd had agreed to wait until after the elections. He got impatient and you broke your back to accommodate his smarmy presence. I don't understand your thinking, or Penguin's thinking - and no good will come of this - it's Brave Little Toaster 2.0.

Uh...I had noticed this and kept putting it off, it seems I missed the vote in the end. My vote would have been Nay, for the record. Todd had agreed to wait until after the elections, and that should have been upheld.

Well — Todd didn't "agree" so much as stated that he would wait if that was the process. (And proceeded to challenge the delay in court.) And, seeing the writing on the wall from the court decision, I thought it was best for us to get out ahead of it.

Our options for Todd would have been either to deny on security grounds or approve and, following the past three people, I'm pretty positive he would've overcome it.

It's hardly Operation Brave Toaster 2.0. Most of the candidates in the election are well respected and have a history of working in the government. So ... unless such people are going to vote RON — which, in of itself will be suspicious — there's nothing to worry about.

I don't think this is OBT 2.0, but I'll make clear I have no sympathy for people like Todd, who come with a self-entitled attitude and demand that we forget everything and give him citizenship, as if we are the ones wronging him.
