The IRC
#1

So, an idea came across me earlier, the idea of an Inter-Regional Court(IRC). What this would be is effectively a version of everyone's court system on lite mode. This would be used for those cases where one region would like to file charges against another.

Punishment would be agreed upon by all signatories. All signatories, except for the prosecution and defendant, would submit a neutral(or as close as possible) Juror to handle the case.

Any thoughts? I know it's probably a bad idea. Just felt I had to try.

I can't see it working. Nice idea, but no way that would not become politicized.

I'm generally with Aram here. I salute the initiative, but I'm missing the point. Since we have so many problems with our own judiciary ... I think this would be even more problematic.

This has actually been tried before. Regions tend to be very reluctant to punish people found guilty in a court other than own, especially when those people are popular or powerful.
