A huge reserve of Taaffeite has been discovered in the Siculite Islands. The mauve-colored gem is thought to be more than a million times scarcer than diamonds, and it is sold between $2,500 to $20,000 per gram or $2,400 per carat(carat: 0.2 grams). Ryccian Mine Companies are moving in to mine the taaffeite, but the Ryccian Government is encouraging foreign investment in the Siculite Islands to make it an economic hotbed. Before taaffeite was discovered, these islands were meant to be a fishing industry, as the area is good for fishing.

Ryccian officials have discovered that a group of hackers hacked the online server of the game Neiss to play the game. They explained since there are sanctions against Ryccia by Hammerstar, there is no currency exchange and therefore they cannot play the game. In Ryccia, the game is wished by many gamers; there have even been protests from the gaming community so the sanctions would stop. Ryccia is expected to charge then with robbery, as they did not pay to play the game.

RedSky Studios CEO, Nico Red warned that gamers from other countries to not pirate the game. Since the software of Neiss is downloaded from the internet, everyone is able to access it. So despite the trade sanctions, the only thing stopping one to play the Neiss MMORPG is not having an internet connection.
