MoRA Agenda
#1

MoRA Agenda:

1. Spotlights: These have been a big success so far, and will be continued. It will primarily be the job of the CIA deputy.
2. RMB Activities: I'd like to implement little games and activities on the RMB this term. I'll be hiring a couple RMB Assistants to assist in this,
3. Cultural Events: Cultural Events are fun and great for relations. Once a month may have been a bit ambitious, but I'd like to run at least two this term.
4. Polls: I'd like to open a section to get more citizen input for poll ideas, so we can skip making polls asking what are next poll should be
5. Roleplays: I plan to put a lot into roleplays, keeping current ones moving and starting new ones. I'll be posting a list of some of my plans and ideas later this week.

I feel like I'm forgetting something, so if you see something please point it out.

1. Is there a template for these? (or just copy the existing ones?) And any rhyme or reason for how you'd like me to select candidates?

Anything else I can do to jump in and help, just holler at me!

Thanks for doing this as discussed!

First to answer LE's questions:
  1. While the format of previous Spotlights (or Closeups) is the template, there is no laws saying that it can't be changed. If you guys decide that there is a better way of doing Spotlights, or that questions should be changed, them I'm all for it.
  2. Resident Spotlight was originally created so that the region at large could meet its residents. So the main criteria were (1) seeing if that person had done something interesting or had the potential to do something interesting and (2) was not that well known in the region. Like the name itself says, the idea is to put people in the spotlight. So the idea here is to see who'd be a fun person to interview.
Now about the agenda, I actually think you covered almost everything. I do think we need to mention revamping Market Street. Escade has been very enthusiastic about that and I think there is a lot of potential in it. Besides that, perhaps we could start thinking in more detail about those cultural events. I'd like to hear what Escade and the MoRA deputies think about this proposed agenda.

LadyE, yep there was an original format but I welcome people bringing their own personality into it! I like profiling a mix of super active people and then well-known people who have been quiet lately.

Farengeto, this looks decent. Hiring more people to work with you sounds great but make sure they are contributing regularly and have clearly defined roles. I'd love see a brief write up of all positions the way I had in the Classifieds section (we should probably make a new one).

I love regional affairs so I'd love to work on as much of this as possible for me to with you. Let me know if you need a hand or want to discuss.

I think that the proposed agenda is great, though I do think market street should be mentioned.

And where do I land? Yes, on Cultural Events, but also in another thing?

As PDA I believe you would also go under the Role-Plays, along with me.

Farengeto:
I suggest you report in the MoRA section the structure of the Ministry and the responsibilities of each deputy. That way we can all have a clear idea of what each is supposed to do.
