[IC] Government Island Summit

The Farengeto find this number excessive and unacceptable and will not accept any number over 100 without appropriate justification.

The number of nuclear nations is growing gradually. There are more nuclear weapons than before. And since we need to defend ourselves, and we do not know how many nuclear weapons they have, we think a number from 300-3,000 will suffice.

We will not accept a number lower than 300. This is our final demand on this issue.

No. 100 nuclear weapons, or the Union takes all remaining weapons and dismantles them.

Dare to do so, and you'll be breaching Ryccia's sovereignty.

Farengeto is willing to negotiate a higher number if the following conditions are met.

Permanent Ryccian withdrawl of:
  • All Ryccian military vessels in the Arebel and Vannin Seas
  • all Ryccian military aircraft and nuclear launch-capable equipment within 1000km of Farengeto and its colonies
  • withdrawl of all military personnel from countries adjacent to Farengeto, its colonies and the Arebel and Vannin Seas, except for humanitarian and peacekeeping purposes.
Exceptions to these terms may be granted on a case-by-case basis by IOC approval.

We propose a compromise figure of 150 nuclear warheads, the remaining 3850 being transferred to IOC member states for immediate dismantling, with the explicit understanding that they will not be otherwise used or taken as part of that nation's arsenal. While a figure of 300 is excessive for some and 100 is too low for others, a compromise of 150 would be close to the figure of the Sporaltryan nuclear arsenal and just enough to guarantee proper defence capabilities for Ryccia.

Specifics regarding a 150 figure would have to be discussed, but we urge all delegations to accept this number in principle, pending further details.

We grudgingly accept 150 warheads.

Ryccia accepts, however in one condition: Ryccia itself will dismantle them, but with international oversight of course.

We will accept 150, however the dismantlement will be divided between all IOC nations with international oversight. This provides assurance of the process and increases the speed of it.
