And we tried a forum/in-game voting model (for delegate). It was pretty good in theory, but horrible to monitor and regulate in practice.

I respect what you are trying to do Unibot, but I just don't agree with your means.

We all want a bigger citizenship, but this measure would probably only serve to mask problems rather than solve them.

The problem with how we did it was it was done via endorsements instead of a ballot. Endorsements meant the incumbent had a major advantage right from the get-go.

I mean -- let's not kid ourselves. The delegate elections via endorsements was never meant to be democratic in the way the rest of the government was.

I often used the suggestion that TSP was a sort of constitutional monarchy. The delegate was the figure head, but the VP -- what would be equivalent to CoA now, I suppose -- was the intended leader of the region.
