When Puerto Rico becomes a state, I will vote democrat. But if Im still underaged, I'll wait patiently.

Nonetheless, Qvait, domestic policy is as important, even more so than foreign policy, since if our domestic situation is a hell-hole, our foreign policy is even more so. That's the goal of socialism.

Still, I'm thinking about either Bernie Sanders and Marco Rubio. Unfortunately, I believe that there is no way that the American people will elect a professed socialist.

It's possible. It's very possible if you can convince enough people. Don't bother with proven republican states, you need to focus on democrat and swing states to get any hope at all of electing Sanders.

And you don't vote based on what you think will happen, you vote based on what you want to happen.

Yeah, I know that last part. However, the first question is: can Sanders beat Clinton in the primaries?

RE: Socialism versus Capitalism - Jay Coop - 05-27-2015

The unfortunate thing about me is that I will not be old enough to vote in the California primary on June 7, 2016. The fortunate part is that I will turn 18 that month, so I can vote in the general election.

Awesome! Well, convince as many as possible that socialism isn't that bad and that Bernie is the way to go.

As long as he implements the NORDIC style of socialism, then he's fine with me.

We, the richest nation in the world, and the nordics have a better living.

I'm not a big fan of socialism for I'm just a guy who is split 50-50 on Republican and Democratic policies. Right now, all I care about is universal healthcare and saving the environment before we destroy it as well as defeating ISIS and stopping Russian aggression.

EDIT: I have read Sanders's position on ISIS, which is to defeat it, but I have not heard his policy on Russia.

I hope it is to be against Russia because of... Putin.
