I mean, if you really want, we can go back to having Council debates only when there is a highly stressful international crisis. :dodgy:

I would prefer the SCO to remain active if I am back in it. I remember times when I was the only guy doing something here.

I know the feeling.

RE: [OOC] Southern Cooperation Organisation - Hammerstar - 05-22-2016

Ah, I see.

So this discussion is only done because there's nothing else to talk about huh?

Anyone up for environmental preservation? censorship? civil rights agreement? scholarship? free healthcare? water for all? All the other stuff?

No? Just me? ok..

It's also done because I honestly believe numbering and record keeping regulations are the responsibility of the Council. As the person who wrote the Charter, that is how I interpret the situation.

Besides, not every resolution will be a big, game-changing resolution. Administrative tasks are also within the purview of the Council (not court). And you know what? It's ok! It's perfectly fine that one resolution every once in a while will be about an administrative matter. It won't be the end of the world.

Then draft resolutions on that. Save for some exceptions, I seem to be the only one to ever draft actual resolutions. Get the resolution format, write all the necessary points in detail, and submit it. Nobody will fault you, and I'll welcome not being the only one to draft resolutions for a change.

First it's preview, second, the method Hammerstar calls the assembly hall of the SCO is Court. We call other speakers Delegates, and call ourselves councilors.

Third, you should draft a "How to make a resolution" Thread

Doesn't even need forgiving, but I thought you'd want to know.

Honorable Secretary General. I, the Amirah of the Nautical Emirate of Sriwijaya and its appointed Foreign Emissary, Siti Rini Rahmawati Arumdalu Badaruddin Sumatrabhumi I, would like to ask a question.

You see, the King has appointed a delegate representing our Emirate to the SCO. He is a great negotiator as well as a trusted man of the king. However, as several member states like Sedunn, who visited Sriwijaya a couple of months ago, are aware. The appointed delegate could not speak English.

Therefore, we ask you honorable Secretary General. Would there be interpreters and translators in the SCO? Or would the delegates of the court must be well versed in English?

Siti Rini Rahmawati Arumdalu Badaruddin Sumatrabhumi I
Current Foreign Emissary of The Nautical Emirate of Sriwijaya

I'm not trying to be rude, but shouldn't an ambassador at least be expected to know the official language of the organization they are a representative for, or at least know the language of the country they are now residing in.
