I don't know what Henn thinks of Ted Cruz, but to me, Cruz is a Tea Party Republican who takes uncompromising stances on issues, something that he and the Tea Party share. I support populism, but the Tea Party is mainly the reason why nothing could get done in the previous Congress.

I think of him as a far-right republican who will do anything to support his damned agenda. Personally, I'd prefer Rubio for the republican nomination. He's a bit more center than most.

If I had to choose two candidates from the republican bunch, my choices would be Rubio and Fiorina(Fiorina knows about money. She was CEO of HP, so I guess she's a technocrat. And we really need more technocrats in the US Cabinet. And even though she denies climate change, at least she's not Trump).

RE: 2016 in America - Kris Kringle - 10-28-2015

There's no use in a technocrat who denies facts.

RE: 2016 in America - Ryccia - 10-28-2015

Still, do you want a latino-discriminator obnoxious billionaire who left Atlantic City in ruins, a neurosurgeon who denies evoluton and right-wingers who are not technocrats? And the brother of the president who caused the Iraq War?

RE: 2016 in America - rhinotaz - 10-28-2015

A neurosurgeon who denies evoluton?

What.

The.

Feck.

RE: 2016 in America - Ryccia - 10-28-2015

Oh, and he also separated the heads of conjoined twins, and was the first to do it(Hint: ___ Carson)

Ah, the irony.

RE: 2016 in America - rhinotaz - 10-28-2015

Just read the Wikipedia article on him. I'm still cringing.

RE: 2016 in America - Jay Coop - 10-28-2015

So what if he doesn't believe in evolution. The policies are what matter.

RE: 2016 in America - Ryccia - 10-28-2015

Let's see...

Not allowing abortion, EVEN in cases of rape and incest.

Comparing Obamacare to slavery.

Etc.
