Why no comments?

 Patience my friend, patience...

RE: [Amendment] Law Standards Act - Typhonka - 09-21-2020

I don't have any useful opinions to share as I see merit in the side that wants to codify our official colors as well as those who feel that this is overlegislation.

RE: [Amendment] Law Standards Act - Roavin - 09-21-2020

I don't feel strongly either way. But if the colors are specified, then all of them should be, not just one.

Actually, I have a nicer suggestion. How about we add custom tags to the forum? Something like and (or however else), which can then be colored accordingly in each theme?

That's a great idea. That eliminates all the guesswork and putting in the wrong hex.

Like #00cc66 and #ff3333 or #16a085 and #c0392b.

I do think we should fix the hex code first.

I think my post went right over your head... It doesnt matter what shade of green or red is used. the point of the color is meant to make changes stand out from the original text.

I completely get your point and also understand the arguments against this proposal, but, in Indusse's defence (and this game been mentioned by anyone since, like, the OP) he argued that the colours do matter as some people find version shades of green in particular very hard to read on their devices or against certain theme backgrounds. Whilst I see the argument that mandating a single shade might be overlegislation, there is something here about making our amendment and debate process accessible.

I think that, if reliably visible shades of red and green could be settled upon, then using Roavin's suggestion of specific amendment bbcode without legislation would be the best option, but we might need a poll or something to confirm the accessibility of the shades...

RE: [Amendment] Law Standards Act - Domais - 09-21-2020

Why don't we just let the Chair make a change if the green is too unreadable?

RE: [Amendment] Law Standards Act - Kris Kringle - 09-21-2020

I think Roavin's suggested solution is very elegant and would simplify things moving forward.

This would be even better if the [bill-subtract] code added the strike-through as well as the colour.
